On Sunday July 13th, 2008 after we did some GPS mapping of the trails around 4W613, we did "Sylvester" aka Tweety Eater. The Sylvester Trail as part of the Non-green Dot project.
This is a DNR project to map all roads and trails in the Ahtanum State forest for a new recreation project.
Note: The non-Green Dot trails are not open to the public and you could get a fine for driving on them without the DNR approval.
Here are a few pics:
Jackass Road at the Sylvester Trail Head

I didn't have the ground clearance to go over the mound so I had to drive off camber around the rock.
Big rocks everywhere. You can see the bent fender from this trail.
This rolling stump attacked the Tweety Jeep a few times.
Now down on the North Fork.
Looking up the trail.
Looking from the trail across the road.
Looking down that trail toward McLaine Bridge.
Waycrazy ready for home.
Over view.
We think this would be a great trail for the DNR to open.
Please do not take this trail unless you see it has a Green Dot or Trail Marker.
You could get a fine for driving on non-marked trails without DNR approval.
Trails are only post OPEN not all closed trails are posted closed.
